14 years of ownership, 4 years of restoration and 4 new tyres.  Brian has owned this stunning 1987 D reg Ford Sierra RS Cosworth for 14 years now and when asked if he would ever consider selling he instantly smiled, proclaiming even if that thought ever crossed his mind his kids wouldn't let it happen.  Having spent 4 years restoring this black rear wheel drive weapon to it's former glory you won't find it hiding under a cover for the "perfect weather" (editor note: perfect weather in Scotland?!) instead Brian chooses to use the car for occasions ranging from getting shopping to car shows. In homage to it not being treated like a pretty little flower. The car, before the restoration, was used on track at Knockhill. Capable cars like these were made to be driven in the eyes of the owner.  The Ford enthusiast has spent time working on all the small details that keep with the original look and feel of the Cossie. Choosing to only replace the intercooler and exhaust for aftermarket components whilst leaving the rest as it was intended in the 80s. This 3 door hatchback Sierra RS Cosworth was one of only 579 produced in 1987. Boasting more than 200 bhp (this was big power back then) and with all that oomph going straight to the rear wheels Brian still finds that the car puts a smile on his face each time he gets in and starts that YB Cosworth engine.  Brian has chosen to use Angus Tyres for years and brings his other interesting Fords in for tyres, services and MOTs. These being a Mk.2 Escort RS2000 and a Mk.2 Transit Camper. This time around though he was in for 4 Toyo Proxes T1R, the perfect choice of performance tyre capable of handling our ever changing weather here in, sometimes, sunny Scotland.
